Meet The Team

Denise Brownlow manages and heads the team of the Creative Crew Dance Zone and Creative Crew Parties.

Denise is a qualified, professional dance teacher with the IDTA, which is recognised by the Dance and Sports Council, as well as being a qualified & experienced artist. Her background includes over 20 years of working with both children and adults in art, drama and dance.

Over the years, she studied drama at Morley College; trained & worked as an Aerobics Teacher for the Central London YMCA, taught Aerobics at Barnet College in Barnet (where she was a student), taught keep fit classes at Walkers Squash Club and trained and qualified as a dance teacher. All this whilst studying as a full time student or in full time work!

Denise has also taught Salsa up to advanced level for 12 years in North London clubs as well as being a Latin DJ, after which she started the Creative Crew 5 years ago. She has successfully organised numerous events, functions and parties as well as running her numerous dance classes – which include Ballroom & Latin, Line dance and now ZUMBA is the latest addition and is proving to be an enormous success.

Her energy & enthusiasm is boundless & obviously contributes to her popularity with both children & adults.

Nichola
A recent dance graduate from Middlesex University; the course consisting of three years of technique including Graham, Cunningham, Ballet, Release based, and Humphrey technique.

Nichola has had 6 years experience in teaching contemporary dance and street dance to all ages and 9 years experience in dance performance.

She is a versatile dancer with experience in many different styles including Contemporary, Street dance, Salsa, Ballet, Afro-Cuban and Jazz.

Nichola has a current CRB, has taught Street Dance/Zumba at our popular children’s parties and is one of our ZUMBA instructors. She is available for children and adult courses, parties and functions.


Rachel
Rachel trained at Bird College of Performing Arts and graduated in 2005 with a first class BA HONS in Dance and Theatre Performance. Since graduating she has worked professionally in theatre, television and onboard Princess Cruises.

Throughout her dancing career she has taught at numerous schools across the UK and has experience and qualifications in the IDTA and ISTD syllabuses and other styles of jazz, tap ballet, contemporary, salsa, disco, swing and musical theatre.

Rachel is one of experienced Zumba instructors and is teaching regular weekly classes with The Creative Crew in Enfield and Barnet.

She has a CRB and has taught Salsa and Zumba at schools and parties and is available for bookings for children and adults.


Louisa
Louisa comes from a strong jazz, contemporary and classical ballet background. Her classes are a mix of these and many other dance styles, including Street dance.

Louisa’s dance credits include X Factor, The Brits, Live 8, GQ and IFFA Awards. Music video's for Delphic & Dima Bilan. Tours for Roxy Music & Bryan Ferry.

Louisa is one of our ZUMBA instructors and is awaiting her CRB. She is available for children and adult courses, parties and functions.


Audrey
Audrey graduated Bachelors of Arts in Dance at University of North Carolina Greensboro U.S.A. (2008)

She has performed and choreographed for Modern/Contemporary dance performances, amateur Musical Theatre productions and film/video production.

She has been competing and performing for over 17 years. Currently Audrey teaches cheerleading and dance to schools across North London.

Dance Experience in Styles and Techniques include Modern/Contemporary, Jazz: Ballet, Tap, African, Latin/Ballroom, Cheerleading and Hip Hop

Audrey is Zumba Licensed and is CRB checked


Louise
Louise is one of our up and coming ZUMBA instructors and the youngest team member.  She has appeared in many performances at Chicken Shed Theatre and has performed in Street Dance and Salsa shows at various functions organised by The Creative Crew.

She has had experience of teaching children Street Dance and Zumba. She is available for children and adult courses, parties and functions.


Kathryn
Kathryn graduated from the Classical Ballet course Northern Ballet School in Manchester with the Dancers Diploma and was awarded the Classical Ballet Award.

She has performed with European Ballet Company, Vienna Festival Ballet and Duchy
Ballet as a soloist in ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and Cinderella, touring the U.K.

She has worked in Europe and various cabaret and corporate shows in the UK and various Cruise Liners as dancer and assistant choreographer.

Although Kathryn is a qualified Ballet teacher and has taught at various dance and theatre in the UK, she has always enjoyed other dance forms which led to her becoming a Zumba instructor which incorporates so many dance styles.
